The Gladstone District Library is a branch of the Parkland Regional Library. The library contains over 3,000 volumes in stock, ranging from adult and children's books, periodicals, reference material, video cassettes, and multilingual books. The library also offers interlibrary loan services for items that are not normally available at the library. We also have a wide selection of DVD's. You can also rent a projector from the Library. The Gladstone District Library has two computers with high-speed Internet that are available for public use. The library serves the Town of Gladstone and the R.M. of Westbourne. We are a small group of local, aspiring "want-to-be" artists who meet to have fun, dabble in paint, and to organize and attend local workshops. The workshops vary in media; i.e. watercolors, acrylics, pencil drawing, rouging, pen and ink, oils Some of us are beginners and some are very advanced, but we usually have a good time, and we always learn something. Our yearly membership fee is only $10, and workshop fees vary, but are very reasonable.
